Terms & Conditions

  1. The following Terms and conditions apply to any order placed with Red Room Interiors Limited (The Company) and cannot be broken without the consent of both parties in writing. A minimum handling charge of 25% will be made in the event of cancellation unless otherwise agreed.
  2. Title in the goods or any part of them in any goods of the company (whether delivered under this contract or otherwise) shall not pass to the purchaser until the purchaser have paid in full all monies owing under this or any other contract. The purchaser shall keep all goods properly stored and protected and separate from the goods of third parties in such a way that the goods can clearly be recognised as the property of the company.
  3. The purchaser shall inspect the goods and within seven days give notice in writing to the company of any matter or things by reason whereof he alleges that the goods are not in accordance with the specification thereof. This is notice must be given before the goods are used. If the purchaser fails to give such notice, the goods shall be deemed to be in all respects in accordance with the contract and the purchaser shall accept and pay for the same accordingly provided the company may be at liberty to vary the specification provided this does not materially alter the nature or the goods. The company will replace or repair free of charge any faulty goods provided they receive notification of such faults within seven days of delivery.
  4. Whilst the company undertakes to do its utmost to execute every order within the specified period. They cannot accept responsibility for any failure or delay in performance of the contract. The period of time mentioned in this contract in this contract within which the purchaser must pay for the goods shall be the essence of this contract.
  5. Red Room Interiors Ltd will agree a delivery date with the customer prior to delivery. Red Room Interiors Ltd reserves the right to charge a customer a failed delivery charge in the event that the customer in unable to accept delivery of furniture that has arrived on site. This charge will be levied at a rate of £0.60/mile on the round trip between Red Room Interiors Ltd and the delivery location unless otherwise agreed.
  6. Unless otherwise agreed these conditions and the contract shall be subject and construed in accordance with English law.
  7. Pay terms are 30 days Nett from the date of the invoice unless otherwise confirmed in writing between the parties. Delay of payment will have direct consequences on pending orders, and interest will be charged at a rate of 2% per month on monies outstanding beyond the payment date.
  8. The company may charge for storage of goods where the customer gives less than 2 weeks notice of a delivery delay, At a rate of 1% of the total invoice value per week.
  9. The company reserves the right to alter specification and withdraw models without prior notice.
  10. Whilst every effort has been made to reproduce colours ands shades of fabric or wood finishes accurately, their representation in any promotional material should be  relied on a guide only.
  11. Where the customers supply their own material it is their responsibility to maintain adequate insurance cover for their property. Whilst the company will take all reasonable steps to ensure safekeeping of customer’s own material, it cannot accept responsibility or liability for the said property whilst in our control.
  12. All prices quoted are including VAT.
